American Hearing Aid Systems has been in business in Medford since 1982 and has relocated to a brand new location this past year. In 1998 I became affiliated with the company and in 2006 purchased the business from its founder.
I've been involved with improving the lives of people thru better hearing for 25+ years. And am committed to providing all the benefits possible and doing all I can to make it an enjoyable and rewarding experience.

"Richard Rogers at American Hearing Aid Systems checked my hearing and noted that I was probably not picking up voices and was he right. I noticed that I was having considerable problems hearing conversations, especially in restaurants even though I was wearing hearing aids. The TV was still too loud for my wife. Richard suggested the NuEar LOOK computerized hearing aids with a Streamer for broadcasting TV sound directly into my hearing aids. What a difference! I can now watch TV with the sound turned down so low my wife cannot hear it at all, even if she's reading in the same room. I was amazed when I went to a restaurant for lunch and was able to hear conversations from other tables and understand them.
It is surprising all the sounds I can now pick up. I washed a bottle out with hot water, placed it upside down on the sink and went into the front room. I heard a sipping noise and wondered what in the world? I checked the dishwasher and then noticed that it was the bottle cooling and sucking air in. I would have never heard it before getting my NuEar hearing aids. We just attended a play at Camelot and I was able to understand all the dialog with no problem. Oh, and the whistling from feedback is gone, even when I use my cell phone."
